Novum Hotel Gates Berlin Charlottenburg

Ideal old-fashioned hotel with good value, we had a peaceful stay. The location in a very very nice area was nice and ideal and there were a main shopping street and shopping streets nearby. There was a lovely restaurant relatively close to the venue. The food they offered was savoury, had lots of meals.

Though everything was fine, some of the staff were not very helpful.

It was a very pleasant stay for two business trip. We stayed in a double room for a bedside table. It was a good location close to a subway station.

The location is great and unbeatable, a great selection of bars and restaurants nearby. A comfort double room with large windows has basic facilities you need.

The breakfast was rich and lovely, we really enjoyed a lot of meals. The location is stunning with a private parking on-site. All the staff members are very helpful and attentive.

Very central location to tourist activities in Berlin. Based adjacent to many shops and restaurants, airport express train stops there and transport links. Clean and bright room, exceptionally comfortable bed. Varied and great breakfast and a great selection of goodies.

As for me, the location was great and unbeatable, close to transport links, metro station and bus stops and city centre.

A good choice of options, brilliant food. In a very central location with a zoo and cafés not far from the hotel. Walking distance to shopping streets and the Christmas market across the street. Close to a S-Bahn station, easy to travel around.

Triple room with tea making facilities was the best. The breakfast was rich and had lots of meals. The location was nice and handy, near to Zoologischer Garten train station where you could travel to most places, convenient to go everywhere.

Beds were very old in this place.

The food was excellent, with a good choice of options. The staff was excellent and cooperative all the time. The location was beautiful, the room was new-fashioned.

Shame the bathroom was too small.

Lovely and good staff and convenient accommodation. Nicely equipped & neat room with a very good bathroom, great location next to public transportation and the big old windows. Marvellous and unbeatable location, just a walking distance from Savigny Square. Nestled not far from a zoo and cafés.

Really enjoyed our large and bright rooms, plus the staff was extremely helpful. Its location within a close distance from a known zoo was nice. The hotel was an incredible base for enjoying a very nice area.

The venue's position was very central. We liked rooms with balcony.

Well, the area was really busy overall.

Had really great stay for two business trip. Perfect very central location just off X9 bus stop as well as local transport. Also, I could quickly reach a known zoo, as it’s only 1 km away. The comfort queen room I was given was complete with a double sofa bed and balcony plus a very good bathroom.

The units are neat and huge with single beds. They offer Wi-Fi, large windows, and a safe. The staff are all very very helpful.

It was spotlessly clean, everyone was very helpful. Double room accommodated us perfectly. The location was good, not very far from a famous West Berlin thoroughfare. It also was close to the subway.

The staff - some of them were very rude.

The location was stunning, close to Charlottenburger Tor. A shopping street and the Christmas market were right next door. A lot of food for breakfast, which was excellent to satisfy everyone.

We were moved to a triple room with all facilities included.

The location was magnificent, the room was modern and huge. We stayed for 7 nights here, loved Charlottenburg district.

The location was marvellous and unbeatable, you can visit a town square by walking. There was lots of bars and restaurants. Had a comfort king room for a bedside table, and we truly enjoyed it.

The hotel was neat based in a historic style building with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast had a huge variety of selection, the food was brilliant. Very central location of this good basic property was a bonus. Furthermore, the area was very nice. Just 5 minutes on foot to Zoological Garden s-Bahn underground, was a big plus.

There were large beds and WiFi and large windows inside the room. The breakfast was varied and lovely and offered a huge variety of items. Had very central location near transport links.

Exceptionally nice and perfect location just off underground and local train, metros and bus to tegel airport, and tourist activities in Berlin, only 5 minutes walk from Charlottenburger Tor. Also, in the beautiful Tiergarten park.

The beds are very comfy to sleep on. The hotel boasts very central location near Zoo.

The location was unbeatable and handy for walking around a town square. I was happy, the quadruple room I booked came with freshly renovated bathroom, the big old windows, for example.

Private bathroom was tidy. The hotel was in a very central location near Zoo. We had goodies and coffee at Biobackhaus, it was located minutes from the venue.

Unfortunately internet was terrible.

The double room with high ceiling and coffee/tea. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Very central location, relatively close to Charlottenburger Tor. The staff - cooperative and knowledgeable.

I booked triple room with balcony, modern bathroom, for example. The location of the hotel was incredible - not too far from See me.

The location was best possible, not too far from The Paris.

Got king room with five really good fulll quality beds, high ceiling, as for instance as expected.

Nothing too much trouble, I had a good stay and would stay here again. Homey hotel with fast wi-fi, the location was magnificent near to Zoologischer Garten train station where you could travel to most places. The staff were amiable and cooperative too. Room was GOOD value. For lunch or dinner go to Manjurani, located a few steps away from the hotel. It was worth its 3 stars.

By and large, it was nice place for sightseeing in Berlin, had much fun. Having a shower and a hairdryer was a bonus

We could have lunch in Dicke Wirtin set within 900 feet. 6 miles away from Tegel airport. 3-star hotel in Berlin.
